Turn off your computer

Never try to recover important data without first contacting us.
This will often make the situation worse and could render your data unrecoverable.

If your hard drive is clicking, grinding or making unusual sounds, the read/write heads maybe scratching the platters. Allowing your computer to run in this condition is like cleaning your CDs with sandpaper. It will destroy your data.
Restarting your computer, rebooting it over and over hoping it will fix itself, or running utilities in an attempt to recover files can corrupt your data. You must turn off your computer now to avoid making your data unrecoverable.

To increase the odds of recovering all of your data, turn off your computer now.
Please, do NOT put your critical business data at further risk by experimenting with it.
